Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted regulate and inspect schools and colleges to seek improvement in the service. They carry out large number of inspections and regulatory visits in England and publish their finding on their website.

Annfield Plain Junior School’s last Ofsted inspection took place in October 2023, during which our school was graded as overall good, as it has been in all three previous Ofsteds. Quality of education, behaviours & attitudes, leadership & management were all graded good with personal development graded outstanding.
